Competent Assistance for Nonprofits will provide ongoing consulting services do complete necessary items including:

• Colorado State Tax Exempt Certificate: Once you have your 501c3 tax exempt determination letter, you can apply for this document which is used to show vendors in order to not pay taxes on purchases.
• Charities Registration:  In the State of Colorado you are required to register with the Charities Registration site.  The information submitted in similar to what is submitted in the 1023 Application and Form 990.
• Raffles and Bingo:  The State of Colorado has specific requirements for obtaining a Raffle and Bingo license.  The application is extensive and the criteria is strict.
• Form 990:  Every year nonprofit organizations submit a 990 to the IRS.
