The Home Depot Community Impact grant focuses on supporting volunteer driven initiatives to support individuals, familys and communities of veterans and those who are diverse and underserved through Home Depot gift cards for tools, materials and services.
GRANT SIZE
Up to $5,000
ELIGIBILITY
Grants are given to for programs supporting either veterans and/or their communities or families, and/or diverse and underserved communities.
Eligible programs should be volunteer driven.
Eligible programs should have strong, long lasting impact, and a follow up plan with measurment of impact and outcomes.
Eligible programs should work to ensure ADA compliance and safety, including policies in place to ensure safety of the buildings and facilities.
Requires IRS Determination Letter or 990 and a detailed project budget.
DETAILS
The grants are offered in the form of Home Depot Gifts Cards for tools, materials and services, so the program lends itself the building projects.
APPLICATION
Decisions via email 4-6 weeks after submission.
Projects must begin within 6-12 weeks of application submission and be completed within the next 6 months
